Shirley Marinho – Instructor: I am a graduate of Physical Education and Sports (Anatomy, Kinesiology and Physiology) and an expert in sports psychology and mental training for athletes.
I started my full Pilates repertoire training in 2005 in Brazil as a result of my passion for the workings of the human body and my experience at the time as a contemporary ballerina.
Tara Fallon – Instructor and Neuromuscular Therapist: The love for my work spills into the reasons why I do what I do. My intention is to inspire people’s lives by reducing aches and pains encouraging easier movement patterns. Expand narrow perspectives on what you think you can-not do by showing you all your capabilities of a pain free life, with the added benefit of teaching your nervous system how to tone down reducing fear and anxiety.
I have been lucky enough to train with some of the world leaders in the area of rehabilitation and movement education. Over the last 17 years I’ve gathered a large collection of qualifications. My education includes; Fully certified Stott Pilates teacher, 200R yoga teacher trainer, Neuromuscular Therapist and Kids yoga Teacher.
Yvonne Cavanagh – Instructor: I have always had a passion for keeping the body moving believing that “a body in motion stays in motion”. Pilates is fundamental movement that our bodies were designed to do – flexion, extension and rotation. If you don’t use it, you lose it. That simple.
I am qualified to teach the full Pilates repertoire (Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barre, Pre and Post Natal, Polestar Gateway).
Laragh McMonagle – Instructor: I am a Stott trained Pilates instructor, and a Holistic Massage therapist. I was recommended Pilates after back surgery and the birth of my now teenage boys , it then became an intrinsic part of my life. As a teacher, the joy is now in passing on Joseph Pilates’ exercises to others and focusing on the mind body connection. I have a special interest in working with pre and post-natal mothers, teaching a range of specially modified exercises in Reform’s caring, relaxed studio setting. Giving women a method which develops and enhances core strength, stability and flexibility through mindful exercise, and always encouraging clients to develop their own body awareness, and self-confidence, both during pregnancy and working with them (and their little ones) after they have given birth too.
Katie Holmes – Instructor: My intention is to heal, challenge and explore with intelligent movement that is grounded in biomechanics, spirituality and play! I have spent over a decade practicing Pilates and yoga, and in the past few years, aerial. I have studied under Liz Bussey with Polestar UK and James Earls of Anatomy Trains and I am a member of the Pilates Method Alliance.
Gigi Tynan – Instructor: I am a Polestar Pilates instructor with a full studio comprehensive certification. I am also currently training in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy and am qualified in sports and pre and post event massage. I love to inspire others to find the same motivation and enthusiasm for Pilates as I have. My classes create a balanced, well-rounded workout that increases energy, improve posture and encourage a healthier lifestyle. I also work one to one with clients to help them achieve their personal goals and recover from injury through movement.
Sheena Kennedy- Instructor: I discovered Pilates 17 years ago and since then it has been an integral part of my life. I am fully certified with the internationally recognised Polestar Pilates as a studio practitioner and qualified to teach on all the studio equipment. Whether you are a complete beginner, recovering from an injury, wanting to improve your athletic performance or improve your strength, flexibility or mobility I will work with you to reconnect with your body to help you achieve your goals.
