On the evening of Friday 3rd April at 7pm we are hosting a Style Masterclass and Clothes Swap in aid of the Road to Roundwood Charity.
We are all trying to find a sustainable solution to our wardrobes (and our lives!). With the fashion industry being one of the major polluting industries, it’s getting harder and harder to turn a blind eye. Why not try trading your gorgeous pre-loved pieces with others? It’s a great way to refresh your wardrobe, accompanied by none of the guilt!
On the night we will first be treated to a style masterclass ‘Style with Confidence‘ from Aoife Dunican, aka the ‘Stylebob’.
Aoife consults with people from all over the world to amplify their image, instill confidence and empower them to achieve goals. Aoife is also an events speaker and hosts Style and Personal Brand Masterclass.
Aoife’s masterclass will be followed by the clothes swap. Please bring a maximum of five items of clothing on hangers. There will be quality control, please make sure to bring clothes that are in good condition and clean. The type of clothes you would like to receive yourself! We will not accept items that are stained or damaged.
The swap shop will be done in rounds, 10 minutes for each round. No swimwear, hosier, stained or damaged clothing. All leftover items will be donated to a local charity shop.
We will have complimentary bubbles for everyone during the event.
All proceeds from the events are going to the Road to Roundwood project started by Loraine Creane. The Road to Roundwood is a voluntary group set up by local people with the goal of welcoming and helping to resettle a refugee family in the community who are fleeing war in the Middle East.
Tickets are €25 each and can be purchased on our website by scrolling forward to the date of the event (Friday 3rd April) and selecting the event. The event is taking place in the function room underneath Blackrock Cellars on the Main Street (Blackrock) and kicks off at 7pm.
