And Breathe….Autumn 2018 in the Studio

At Reform, we are always trying to come up with new ways to enhance your Pilates practice, and in doing that, we hope that we can improve the quality of the lives of our Pilates community.
September is a great time to re-set the body and the mind. It’s a time when we can usually find a bit more time to take a deep breath and start to look after ourselves once again.
With that in mind we have added a few new classes to the Pilates timetable, moved a few around and planned some unique masterclasses for you. We are also starting a weekly half hour drop-in mindfulness class!
In May 2019, we are planning a retreat in Puglia with Mariapia! Read on….

Classes at Reform
Our class schedule and availability is always updating on our timetable. If a class is full please do put your name on the wait-list as there are often cancellations and you will then receive an automated email to say we have a space for you.
We are starting to introduce some early morning classes, the first being a Studio (semi-private) class with Gigi on Friday at 7.30am. We will follow with more if you would like them (let us know!). You have also been asking us for a more advanced weekday morning class so Laragh is starting a Mixed Level Prop Challenge on Thursdays at 10am using our small props for additional challenge.
We still have our twice weekly Bellyup Pre Natal and Post Natal classes as well as our regular Over 55s Springchair and mat classes. Don’t forget to book to guarantee your spot.

Drop in Mindfulness with Serena
Need to de-stress, but too busy to commit to a full mindfulness course? Or, maybe you are an experienced practitioner who just wants to have a space to drop by and meditate? Join us for our new drop-in 30 minute meditation classes. These sessions will provide simple techniques to deal with the busy pace of modern life.  They are open to both complete newcomers and seasoned practitioners. Learn to work with your breath to become more present and discover ways to become more compassionate towards yourself and others. Give yourself just 30 minutes “me time” each week. You, your families and friends will all see the benefits” This class will commence on Tuesday 25th September at 10am and you can book via our timetable.

Puglia Retreat, May 2019.
As the summer was coming to an end, Tara and I have been working with Mariapia Cleopazzo (some of you will remember her as she worked in Reform for 3 years before going home to Puglia to set up her own studio) to put in place plans for a Pilates retreat in early May. It is going to be a week long retreat from 4th – 11th May taking place at https://www.agricolasamadhi.it/en/. There are plenty of single and double rooms available and if there are enough of us we will have the place to ourselves! The price (c. €1200) will include accommodation, brunch and dinner (fresh vegan food) and the choice of two daily Pilates classes. We will also be arranging excursions so you can do as much or as little, as you like! Your flights will be for you to organise with Brindisi being the closest airport and Bari being less than 2 hours away. If you are interested please can you email me (anna@reformpilates.ie) as we need an idea of numbers this week so that we can put a deposit on the accommodation. Once we have done this we will finalise all the details in the coming weeks and ask you for a deposit (assuming you are still interested).

Finally, we have launched our new website and with our new logo and would love to hear your feedback!

That’s the lot for now, see you soon,

Anna, Tara, Yvonne, Katie, Gigi, Laragh, Sheena, and Shirley
