Your Post-Baby Body (and How to Safely Strengthen It)

Pregnancy and labour inevitably changes our bodies, however those changes are rarely discussed and new Mums are expected to ‘bounce back’. Associated problems often go unaddressed, despite often being easily solved.
During this 2 hour workshop, we will explain complications such as incontinence, prolapse and diastasis recti and take you through a series of Pilates-based exercises designed to help you restore balance in the muscles of the pelvis and  resolve related issues. Suitable for anyone who is at least 10 weeks post-natal.

When? Saturday 26th May  9.30am – 11.30am

About Anna Frankland
Anna is a Physical Therapist and has 10 years experience teaching Pilates from her dedicated Pilates studio in Blackrock. She has  a special interest in women’s health particularly in the pre and post natal period and post menopause period. Anna has  developed this workshop based on her personal and professional experience in this area.

Deirdre Mc Ferran is an NMT Physical Therapist treats a broad spectrum of clients who experience pain and discomfort in the muscular and skeletal system.  Using a combination of Physical Therapies that include Orthapedic Sports Massage, Neuromuscular energy techniques and Trigger Point Therapy Deirdre has achieved some outstanding results for her clients.
