High Intensity Interval Training. This class focuses on building all over body strength by performing a limited number of Pilates exercises over a 30 minute period with short, consistent rest intervals between each exercise. HIIT has been shown to burn fat tissue more effectively than low-intensity exercise (up to 50% more efficiently) and dramatically speed up metabolism, which helping the body burn more calories throughout the day.
It will be followed by 15 minutes of release work on the foam rollers to release tension in the body as it cools down. It is a class suitable for those who have attended at least 10 group classes at Reform and are free from injury.
