Reform Pilates offers private one-on-one classes using the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Spine Corrector. If you have an injury or are looking for a personalised workout at a time which suits you so you can achieve your goals then private classes are for you.
A private class takes 45 minutes and the initial class will include a functional strength and flexibility test, a postural assessment as well as a full medical history review and discussion of your goals. If you have any relevant medical reports or notes from your healthcare provider, please bring them to your first class as they can be quite useful to your instructor. We will then develop an individual program for you to work from.
Semi Private (Studio) Classes @ Reform Dublin
Studio Pilates classes at Reform also use the Reformer and other large pieces of apparatus, to add variety and specificity to your workout. These classes are suitable for all levels of fitness as each client works from a customized program to achieve their own goals whether it be increasing specific muscle strength (often to rehabilitate an injury), improving flexibility, reducing back or neck pain or losing weight.
Hundreds of exercises have been developed to challenge every muscle in your body and we use the Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair, and Spine Corrector to provide a unique type of workout.
We can adjust the settings and tension of the springs on the equipment to change the intensity of your workout, and focus specifically on different parts of the body to achieve your goals. We also utilize small apparatus and the Pilates mat exercises to give you a rounded workout.
You will work from an individual program which is customised for you based on the outcome of an initial consultation. You will be fully supervised at all times by a qualified instructor, and class sizes will be limited to a maximum of 4 clients per hour (in Semi Private Sessions). You can also opt for a Private or a Duet Session if you are looking for individual attention.
All clients will be required to complete an initial consultation in advance of commencing a personal Pilates programme. The consultation session will include a functional strength and flexibility test, a postural assessment, an introduction to each piece of equipment and a full medical history review.
